Therapy: Craniosacral Therapy
-
Since completing my training as a druggist, I have been fully dedicated to the field of health. After finishing massage school in 1999, I worked in various countries and engaged in extensive exchange with therapists from around the world. For the past 20 years, I have been practicing as a Craniosacral Therapist, and since 2010, I have been running my own practice in St. Moritz. Ongoing studies in psychology, trauma, and meditation allow me to explore the deeper, often hidden aspects of human experience.
Through gentle, hands-on contact, I connect with people on physical, mental, and emotional levels. Together, we explore areas of tension or resistance and bring awareness to them. The goal is to activate and support the body’s natural healing processes, helping to release these tensions in a safe and effective way.
Craniosacral therapy complements yoga beautifully, enhancing both physical and emotional balance.
-
I increasingly recognize myself as a facilitator, helping to bring awareness into the body–mind–soul system. As I continue my own journey, I can perceive more clearly the processes that may underlie physical pain and imbalance in the system. Life is a magical journey, and I follow with wonder and joy the unfolding path of healing and growth for humankind.
By exploring our inner world, we contribute to making the outer world a better place. Nature serves as my guide and provides nourishment for my soul, keeping me grounded and nurtured, which allows me to support each client with clarity, compassion, and presence.
Therapy
-
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, holistic manual therapy that releases tension and supports the body’s self-healing abilities.
The craniosacral system consists of the dura mater, the skull (cranial), the spine, and the sacrum. Within this system, cerebrospinal fluid flows, creating a subtle rhythm—like the ebb and flow of the tide—known as the craniosacral rhythm. Because the body is interconnected through connective tissue, this rhythm can be felt throughout the entire body.
The therapy helps uncover blockages, injuries, and even stored memories or emotional trauma within the body’s tissues, which can then be gently released. Often, emotions connected to these memories arise. The therapist works carefully to support clients in processing these emotions and exploring underlying belief systems, promoting overall balance and well-being.
